To build a new air cooling system for the R9 290X, one can start by researching aftermarket cooling solutions specifically designed for this graphics card model. Look for cooling solutions that offer better heat dissipation and improved airflow. Next, carefully follow the manufacturer's instructions for installing the new cooling system, making sure to properly apply thermal paste and securely attach the cooling unit to the GPU. Finally, test the new cooling system to ensure that it effectively lowers the temperature of the R9 290X during heavy usage. **

No, it is not possible to use Crossfire with an AMD R9 290X and an R9 380. Crossfire requires both graphics cards to be of the same model in order to work together effectively. Mixing different models like the R9 290X and R9 380 will not be compatible for Crossfire configuration. **

For a PC setup with an AMD FX 9590, R9 280X, and R9 290X, you will need a high-wattage power supply to ensure stable and reliable performance. A power supply with a wattage rating of at least 750W to 850W would be recommended to handle the power requirements of these components, especially considering the high power consumption of the AMD FX 9590 CPU and the two graphics cards. Additionally, it is advisable to choose a power supply from a reputable brand with good efficiency and reliability ratings to ensure the safety of your components. **

For a PC setup with an AMD FX 9590, R9 280X, and R9 290X, you will need a power supply with a minimum wattage of 750W. However, it is recommended to go for a power supply with a higher wattage, such as 850W or 1000W, to ensure stable and reliable power delivery to your components, especially if you plan to overclock or add more components in the future. Additionally, make sure the power supply has the necessary connectors for your graphics cards and other components. **
