The performance loss when using multiple monitors can vary depending on the specific hardware and software being used. In general, using multiple monitors can lead to a slight decrease in performance, as the computer needs to work harder to render graphics and display content on multiple screens simultaneously. However, with modern hardware and graphics cards, the performance impact is often minimal for everyday tasks such as web browsing, word processing, and video streaming. For more demanding tasks such as gaming or video editing, there may be a more noticeable performance decrease when using multiple monitors. **
